Residential interior design
Interior Design in Hampshire
Kings Interiors provides bespoke residential interior design across Hampshire for country houses, period residences and substantial new homes. Our commissions range from comprehensive renovations to complete furnishing schemes, with architecture, craftsmanship and fine materials informing the design.
We develop each interior as a coherent whole, considering spatial layouts, bespoke joinery, lighting and furnishings together. Original features and personal collections enrich the scheme, creating a residence with depth, individuality and enduring appeal.

Architecture & character
An interior shaped by its architecture.
The proportions and character of a house establish the direction of its interior. In a period residence, original detailing informs the introduction of new materials and bespoke elements. In a newly built home, carefully developed joinery, finishes and furnishings establish a distinctive identity from the outset.
Composition & detail
Fine furnishings. A complete composition.
Furniture, lighting and textiles are selected for their scale, craftsmanship and relationship to the room. Bespoke upholstery, artwork and individual pieces introduce richness, balancing the formality of reception spaces with the comfort of more private rooms.

How we approach a home
Thoughtful from the outset.
A comprehensive interior begins with a clear brief and a thorough understanding of the property. We establish the arrangement of rooms, furniture and circulation before developing the joinery, lighting and material specifications that give the scheme its character.
For renovations, we consider how proposed changes relate to the existing architecture. For new residences, early involvement allows interior details to be developed alongside the architectural plans, giving kitchens, bathrooms and fitted cabinetry their place within the overall design.
We collaborate with the appointed architect, contractor and specialist makers, providing drawings and specifications within the agreed scope. Procurement, installation and final styling can form part of the commission.Working with Kings Interiors
Comprehensive design. Individual furnishing.
Our services accommodate both substantial building projects and the furnishing of completed properties. Each commission begins with a defined scope, establishing the design requirements and the studio’s responsibilities.
