The approach
Existing character.
A new chapter.
Reworking an established home calls for a careful relationship between its original architecture and the spaces being introduced. The interior scheme considers proportion, flow and material selection together, connecting the existing rooms with the extended accommodation.
The new basement will provide additional leisure and living space, while the reconfigured floors respond to the family’s daily routines. Architectural details are respected wherever possible as the home is adapted for its next chapter.
The renovation remains in progress. The emphasis throughout is on a consistent design direction, with comfort, function and detailing considered as part of the whole.
